The Hacktory would like to plan a fundraiser in relation to Longwood Garden’s installations by Bruce Munro: http://light.longwoodgardens.org/

On August 16 there will be a Story Slam in the garden by First Person Arts, and a lecture about bio-inspired energy. The Hacktory would like to coordinate an event around this as a fundraiser for them (to help raise $ for their Knight Arts Challenge grant). They would rent a bus or van and get a group discount on tickets, and possibly bring a picnic dinner and some freebies for a quick trivia game. They’d like to gauge interest beforehand though, so if this sounds like fun or if you have suggestions please email georgia -AT- thehacktory -DOT- org. They think they could price tickets at $40 – $80 per person, though would aim for the lower end.

They would plan on leaving Philly at about 6 pm, and return by 10 or 10:30 pm.
